Our Biblical Calling
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word,
in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 - NKJV
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 - NIV
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word,
in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity..
1 Timothy 4:12 - KJV
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say,
in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 - NLT
Regardless of which translation of the Bible you prefer to use, God's standard for the young leaders in the church
is very high. You are called to be leaders in:
        - The way we talk (word / speech / conversation / what you say)
        - Our daily walk (conduct / life / charity / the way you live)
        - Our relationship with other people (love / life / spirit / your love)
        - Our relationship with God (faith)
There is an old expression that truly comes from this verse:
        Your walk talks...
        ...and your talk talks...
...but your walk talks louder than your talk talks!
Are you walking, or just talking?
If we are called to set the example to all believers in our walk, our talk, our relationship with others, and
our relationship with God, what else is left?
...Oh yes - Purity!
God's bar is very high for those whom he calls!
We are not concerned about how we fit into the church because what counts is understanding who we are in Christ.
Understanding our identity in Christ is absolutely essential to success at living the victorious Christian life.
Each of us must be secure when we ask ourselves: Who am I in Christ? Accordingly, each of our Bible Studies
